Full bust Around the fullest part of the bust, tape level all the way round. High bust (optional) Under the arms, above the bust, across the top of the chest. Waist Around your natural waist, the narrowest part of your torso. Full hip Around the fullest part of the hips and seat, usually 7–9 in below the waist. Shoulder width Across the back, from the tip of one shoulder bone to the other. Front neck to waist From the base of the neck at the shoulder, over the bust point, down to the waist. Underarm to waist Down the side seam line, from 1 in below the armpit to the waist. Seated rise Sit on a hard chair. Measure down the side from your waist to the seat. Waist to floor Down the side from the waist to the floor, standing, barefoot. Height Barefoot.
